New Connections, Reconnections and Alterations to Existing Connections
If you're building, changing the electrical load on an existing site, wanting to relocate a power connection, or require any other changes to your connection, start by completing our online application form.
Network Tasman delegate design pricing and construction to our local authorised line contractors. Authorised Line contractors will prepare a reticulation design for your new subdivision, new line extension, alteration or other development.
Electricity and telecommunication easements are really important as they allow us to convey electricity and telecommunications on, under or, over private land without interruption to our network. An easement gives the right to access your property for a limited purpose.
If you are calling about an interruption to your power supply or a fault, please call the toll free number (0800 508 100) for our 24hr Fault Response Line
Kia ora Tapawera, St Arnaud, Kikiwa and surrounding areas. We have three outages coming up for your supplying substation on Sundays over March/April to allow us to install new equipment at site. Unfortunately, this will mean having to turn the power off while we do the work. Apologies in advance for the inconvenience, and we'll look to put some imagery up during each of these days to show you what we're doing. A reminder that if you are impacted by this outage you will be notified by your retailer or Network Tasman directly. (As per notice below, some people will be covered by back up generation being supplied by Network Tasman). ... See MoreSee Less
